THE SURVIVORS
Nathan Palmer, the renowned quirky “savant and successful entrepreneur,” embarks on his greatest adventure yet, when he takes a trip to Wyoming for a relaxing and adventurous vacation at his western ranch.
Nathan, his business partner and their families find themselves stranded and fighting to survive on the ranch next to the Wind River Indian Reservation. Everything seems to go wrong - an earthquake, volcanic eruption, raging forest fires. Tensions rise. Panic erupts. Their families must band together as a team to survive. Nathan must join up with members of the Arapaho and Shoshone tribes of the reservation to discover the truth behind the mystery why so many natural disasters have suddenly started to rock their sacred land. Everyone will be forced to break the law and risk everything to survive the largest holocaust to strike the U.S. since the September 11, 2001 Twin Tower Attacks. It’s life or death, fighting for their lives against the elements, and only the strong survive. But can Nathan and all his friends really survive the forces of nature that are so indomitable that they threaten the entire U.S.? “Quality writing and an extra-fast pace tossed in with some very interesting science and history.” “A fast-paced, complex plot, a gripping story filled with fine characters and suspenseful action.” “An explosive seat-of-your-pants thriller!” Reader Reviews From Amazon:
Bald Eagle 5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read! February 15, 2019 Format: Paperback Recently finished reading John West's "The Survivors" - a masterful blend of strong characters, obscure facts and unique circumstances; resulting in a plausible doomsday event. The authors character development enables him to cast them into new circumstances from original book writings into sequel followups while maintaining the importance of their individual traits and strengths. Speaking, of which, I think its time to revisit the good folks from the "Mahdi's Pathogen" set to see how they're faring down on their Texas spread. "The Aedes Plague" was an intriguing side trip. Texas 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sequel to The Doomsday Prophet February 3, 2019 Format: Kindle Edition Another exciting adventure in the life of Nathan Palmer. It was interesting to see how Nathan and his friends not only survived but flourished after the Doomsday Prophet. Enjoyed this sequel very much and anxiously awaiting your next novel John West. |
